Participants will be challenged to imagine opportunities for approaching the climate challenge through solid economics. A wide range of foundational topics will be discussed, including Policy Development for ensuring success, Site Energy Master Planning; goal setting, prioritization, and; economics for energy efficiency and renewable energy; community scale opportunities; funding sources; and more.

Energy Efficiency (EE) has always been “cost effective”.  Renewable Energy (RE) is now “cost effective”.  So why haven’t these really taken off.  Beyond the technical components, the seminar attempts to re-examine and recalibrate our mindsets so that we can build attitudes and mental constructs that truly support amplifying EE and RE efforts.  We have to re-vision the world as we know it in order to devise successful solutions to address the climate challenge and the existential threat/opportunity it presents.
