Ozarks Branch Mixer & LEED Building Tour: Hilton Garden Inn

Interested in connecting with green building professionals in your area while gaining continuing education?

Join us for an Ozarks Branch mixer and tour of the LEED Gold Hilton Garden Inn!

The Ozarks Branch of the U.S. Green Building Council – Missouri Gateway Chapter is reinvigorating efforts in the Springfield area, and we want to hear from you!  Our goal is to create more networking and educational opportunities related to sustainability in the Springfield area. We’ll kick things off with an evening of camaraderie and innovation in action.

The evening will begin with complimentary appetizers and cash bar followed by a brief overview of the Branch’s history and visioning of possibilities for the future.  Attendees will then tour the LEED Gold facility and learn about a number of the hotel’s sustainable features, such as:

  • Solar panels on the roof
  • Solar wall which serves as a heat exchange
  • Geo thermal HVAC
  • High efficiency water and light fixtures
