USGBC-Missouri Gateway is committed to recognizing volunteers who have contributed significantly to the Chapter, devoting time and talents “above and beyond” on a particular project or program! This month, we are happy to recognize Alan Ely, Ely Consulting Engineer, LLC and member of the USGBC-Missouri Gateway Program Committee.
Alan Ely is the Program Committee member behind two of the most sought after programs in our 2010 calender – September’s tour of Washington University’s Tyson Living Learning Center and October’s Photovoltaics: Concept to Completion. While in the planning phases for the September program, Alan voiced the need for a program on renewable energies. As soon as the Program Committee agreed, Alan volunteered to take the lead on the renewable energies program as well! His commitment to securing knowledgeable speakers to cover key components of these topics greatly contributed to the success of these educational opportunities.
Thanks, Alan, for your contributions to the Chapter and our community!
