Photo Contest

The USGBC – Missouri Gateway Chapter invites you to enter our fifth annual photo contest, celebrating 15 Years of Green and Healthy Spaces!

The contest is open to all residents of the Missouri Gateway Chapter territory (see territory map). The contest deadline has been extended until September 15. Winners will be announced on October 18 at our monthly program.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three images, plus attendees at the October meeting will be able to vote for a “People’s Choice” award. Timothy Farmer, first place winner
Tim was awarded a free one-year membership to the USGBC Missouri Gateway chapter and a gift card provided by Great Harvest Bread Company. “I love Great Harvest’s bread and the people are always nice when I go in,” Tim said of his experience at Great Harvest. “As a bread baker myself, I am very picky when I eat ‘store bread.’ As I was shopping, the server was knowledgeable and helpful, I could tell they take the time and do it right. If I run out of time to bake my own, they are the only bread store I buy from.”

Paul Todd Merrill, second place winner
Paul won a complimentary pass to an In-Depth Educational Session and his choice of a Chapter pint glass, water bottle, or hat.

John Guenther, third place and people’s choice award winner
John was awarded a gift card courtesy of Riverbend Restaurant & Bar as well as a USGBC Missouri Gateway Chapter water bottle. “My wife Jane and I enjoyed our dinner at Riverbend in Richmond Heights,” John said. “The food was good, as was the service. We have always enjoyed going to Riverbend, ever since it first opened near the AB brewery.”
