The Mid-Missouri Branch is located in the Jefferson City / Columbia, MO area. Formed in April 2012, the Mid-Missouri Branch is steadily growing with the guidance of passionate leaders including Lawrence Lile, Lyria Bartlett, Barbara Buffaloe, Ben Datema, and Natalie Ellis. Branch activities include LEED building tours, natural building workshops, GreenDrinks, and more.
The Mid-Missouri Branch Board hosts meetings once per month at a local restaurant to plan new local USGBC-MGC events. If you’re interested in getting involved, or simply want to chat about what opportunities exist in the area, contact Branch Chair Lawrence Lile of Lile Engineering LLC, at email@example.com.
If you’re looking for a more informal way of getting acquainted with the local green building community, consider attending GreenDrinks. GreenDrinks is an informal event held at Kaldi’s Coffee in Columbia, Missouri on the first Thursday of every month. Support a local business with caffeinated conversation about sustainability with other green building professionals. The gathering has relocated to a non-alcoholic venue in order to be inclusive of MU students. There is no fee for the event. Please support our local businesses with your patronage! For more information about GreenDrinks, contact Ben Datema at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Individuals in the Mid-Missouri area are welcomed to join the Chapter at the special Supporter level rate of only $35 / year. Click here to join now.
