Honors: Excellence Recognized

Heroes of the Planet

“Saving the planet by … being the go-to group for area green building efforts and leading local outreach programs to increase awareness about LEED certification.” That’s how the St. Louis Business Journal summed up the Missouri Gateway Chapter’s many contributions as one of its “Heroes of the Planet” for 2008. As winner of the Journal’s “Sustainable Alliances” category, the chapter’s many ongoing contributions were noted: monthly educational programs, training workshops, outreach, and collaboration with local utilities.
