* Financial Benefits of LEED
Financial Benefits of LEED
Time: 5:30 pm
Financial performance can be fairly easy to estimate once you understand the lingo: like internal rate of return, cap rate, and net present value. With a little refresher on Finance 101, you can tailor these decision-making tools to your project conditions and help the project team understand why building green makes sense for all three bottom lines. Just in case you slept through Finance class in college, this will be a lot shorter – a 45-minute summary of how you can quantify financial parameters for a typical LEED new construction or existing building project and discussion of traditional financing options for renewable projects, followed by Q&A.
