The Story of a Congregational Energy Audit

In 2014 Missouri Interfaith Power & Light and the USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter awarded complementary energy audits to ten congregations, funded by a USGBC Impact grant. Since that time, energy auditors have been hard at work.

Recently, the national EdenKeeper Blog posted a three part series of stories about St. John’s Episcopal Church’s experience with their energy audit, written by local blogger and congregation member Jeff McIntire-Strassburg.

Ross & Baruzzini’s Sustainability Team completed a pro-bono energy audit for Grace and Peace Fellowship, a Presbyterian church located in the Loop. Annie Smith, a USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter member and volunteer, wrote about the Sustainability Team’s experience completing the audit on Ross & Baruzzini’s blog. Check out her story here.
