Shedding Light on LED Lighting

This seminar will provide an in-depth look at the state of LED Lighting for a variety of project types, from area lighting and warehouses, to retail and office lighting. Presenters will explain what types of fixtures are currently available and their price ranges. Additionally, presenters will dispel myths about LED Lighting, including their unreliability and poor color options.

Detailed information on where the industry is currently positioned will be discussed, as well as things to watch for in specifying LED products and where the industry is going in the very near future.


  • Compare and contrast the various types of LED sources available in today’s marketplace.
  • Explore how to apply the appropriate LED source to a particular project type.
  • Examine lighting quality and how to critically assess product data sheets to identify important quality markers of an LED source.
  • Identify how to prioritize lighting quality characteristics for a particular project type, and how to specify the right LED based on these lighting quality priorities.
