A growing number of homeowners are interested in operating PV off the grid. For some, this interest is linked to their desire to stay in their homes during extended power outages; for others, as a way of becoming energy independent.
This in-depth seminar will feature panelists discussing clear criteria and obstacles to operating PV off the grid, such as safety from feedback onto the grid and limitations of control interfaces, as well as how to put together systems that can operate on and off the grid. Additionally, the availability and costs of control solutions will be addressed.
