Congratulations to Chapter Members Rick Hunter & Mary Ostafi for being named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2013!
Rick Hunter, CEO of Microgrid Solar, is recognized for his company’s growth from $500,000 in revenue in 2010 to $10.8 million in 2012, doing work with the St. Louis Cardinals and Fort Riley in Kansas. Rick is a long-time member of the USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter and previously served as Advocacy Committee Chair and on the board of directors.
Mary Ostafi, Sustainability Specialist at HOK, is recognized for leading HOK’s firm wide occupant engagement program, through which she’s engaged over 15,000 employees in 6 million square feet of space and saved 2.5 million kilowatts of energy. Mary is also recognized as founder and chair of Urban Harvest STL a non-profit that promotes urban agriculture. Mary has been a member of USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter since 2010. She currently serves on our Program Committee where she just finished up a two-year term as committee chair.
