Daylighting Course at SLCC

St. Louis Community College at Meramec will be hosting a continuing education breakfast seminar on Thursday, June 9 from 7 to 9am.  This LEED course focuses on Daylight Modeling and the positive effects it has on the well-being and performance of occupants of a space. The course will introduce attendees to IES, a powerful green design tool, and will guide attendees through the daylighting simulation process. It will include a review of basic daylighting theory, introduce helpful daylighting “rules of thumb” and review the various compliance methods included in the LEED Indoor Environmental Quality.

This seminar is approved for LEED-specific continuing education hours (2 GBCI CE hrs) under the GBCI credential maintenance program. The cost for USGBC members is $30 and $49 for non-members. Register online or by phone at 314-984-7777.
