USGBC-STL Receives Award for CMP Education & Resources

While many USGBC Chapters are addressing the LEED Credential Maintenance Program and retooling their educational offerings, USGBC-STL is among the first Chapters offering a LEED CMP Information Session. And we’ve developed tools that are innovative and helpful resources to the building industry.  In recognition of these accomplishments, USGBC-STL was recently awarded a 2010 USGBC Heartland Region Chapter Award in the area of Organizational Excellence.

New CMP resources are available on the LEED Credentials page of our website and by clicking on the following links:

Additionally, we are working to assist LEED Professionals who are still struggling with how to report their continuing education hours – particularly with the prescriptive requirements. USGBC-STL asks program speakers to identify which of the six major categories of the prescriptive requirements for LEED APs credentialed under NC, CI or EB their presentation best fits under (project site factors; water management; project systems and energy impacts; acquisition; installation and management of projects materials; improvements to the indoor environment; stakeholder involvement in innovation; and project surrounding and public outreach) and includes in our program evaluation email these category suggestions for reporting LEED CMP continuing education hours.

LEED Professionals – stay tuned!  USGBC-STL will continuously develop resources and programs to help you achieve your continuing education requirements.  Be sure to check the Chapter website regularly for updates!
