Midwest Energy & Climate Policy Conference

The fourth annual Midwest Energy and Climate Policy Conference will be held June 8-10 at the Missouri Botanical Garden and Union Station’s Marriott Hotel. The conference will bring together experts from across the region and country to discuss a myriad of climate and energy related topics, such as federal and state energy priorities, proposed legislative and regulatory actions, corporate response to carbon management, the future of coal, natural gas, and nuclear power, and the outlook for alternative energy research and initiatives. This conference is a great opportunity to learn more about these important topics and features an excellent line up of speakers, including:

  • Dr. Gavin Schmidt from NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York
  • Dr. William Dannevik, Chair, Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at St. Louis University
  • Henry Henderson, Director, NRDC Chicago Office
  • Senator John Warner (R-Virginia), and
  • Anita Maltbia, Director if Kansas City’s Green Impact Zone

The conference is sponsored by the Regulatory Environmental Group for Missouri, the Missouri Botanical Garden, the Missouri Energy Initiative, the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, and the St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association. See the full conference schedule and details here.
